Epson-booth 5821

Epson will be showcasing its line of label and packaging solutions in booth #5821, with experts available to answer questions. From proof to press, Epson products have advanced printhead technology, ink, LED lamps, and color management, all designed and built by Epson.

Epson’s booth will feature the SurePress L-6534VW UV press available with digital varnish or orange ink. Digital varnish offers spot varnish, simulated foiling, and embossing all in line with the label production. Orange ink has a 92% PANTONE® coverage certification within Delta E of 1.5,1 using minimum colors to deliver maximum gamut. The L-6534VW models automate both maintenance and checking of the printheads during the production day without operator intervention. 

The SurePress L-4733AW water-based resin press builds on the success of its predecessor, one of the leading selling digital inkjet label presses, to deliver low-cost white ink label printing, ideal for food production packaging including PS labels, IML, shrink, and candy wrappers.

Epson will also showcase its line of P-, R- and S-Series printers for proofing, prototyping and large size label production up to 63 inches wide, as well as its ColorWorks color inkjet desktop label printers that handle on-demand jobs in tough production line environments.

This new module delivers a seamless application of specialty finishes, it can be used for digital spot varnish or for a full range of foil effects, including metallic foiling, hologram application and tactile finishes. It is compatible with many different substrates offering maximum flexibility.

Grafotronic HAPTIC DIGITAL represents greater efficiency and simplicity in embellishing labels, thanks to a rapid a start-up time and reduced operator intervention whilst Dominos I-TECH Cleaning and Capping Technologies provide investment protection. The module decorative finishing processes with minimal waste and without the need for tooling like printing plates or screens significantly reduces production time and costs.

The HAPTIC DIGITAL offers unique advantages in the production of labels for: food and beverage, cosmetics, chemical, pharmaceutical and tech sectors – especially for short run work. Digital cold foiling is also used to enhance brand protection with anti-counterfeiting features.

Thanks to Grafotronic’s 100% modular concept the HAPTIC DIGITAL module has been designed for rapid integration and retrofitting and can be combined with any of Grafotronic’s DCL2 modules.
