Jim Bowman has responsibility for UPS’ Worldwide Labeling Standard. This role includes managing the testing and certification of all shipping label producing systems. Jim joined UPS in August 2004 as a Project Engineer in the Advanced Technology Center. His roles included project management, automated systems integration, third level support, user acceptance of vendor supplied automation solutions and system security. From 2008 until 2014 he managed a team responsible for security for all Corporate Plant Engineering automation computer systems. Jim has been the automation integration engineer at more than 30 domestic and European UPS facilities.
