Rick Heinl attended Capital University in Columbus, OHIO, graduating with a BS in Accounting in 1977. He then worked for Keebler Cookie as a cookie elf salesman for 1.5 years.
He started at Repacorp in September 1978 as a sales person, becoming a 50% owner in 1988 and bought the company in 1990 with sales of $ 1,800,000.
In 2000 he acquired the OEI plant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Further acquisitions followed in 2002, with Sierra Screen Co in Phoenix, AZ; Aladdin Label in Wisc. in 2010; Hooven Daytons Assets in Dayton, Ohio in 2019; and T&T Graphics to complement his plant in Phoenix, AZ in 2021.
In that time, he has built Repacorp into a successful independent family-run business. Rick has three children working at Repacorp, who now own 45 % of the company and run their own divisions. Rick’s brother Tony Heinl has been with Repacorp for 33 years.
Today, the company has 4 locations and 235 employees. For 2022, the company aims to surpass $65,000,000 in sales, supplies notwithstanding.
