Mark Andy (booth 319) is unveiling its award-winning Performance Series P9E press model specifically designed for high quality flexible packaging production including film, shrink sleeves, and foil lidding. Available in wider web widths up to 26 inches, the P9E comes with new servo-controlled impression adjustment, plate cylinder loading support, and an anilox and chamber drawer. This flexo press prints at speeds of 1,000 fpm.
Configured with Mark Andy AI, it offers advanced automation with automated registration and impression, job save, 8 servo motors per station and a centralized control system. The enhancements reduce manual adjustments and associated downtime while meeting Industry 4.0 demands.
Also making its North American debut is the recently launched Mark Andy P7E, which brings key advancements that promote operator efficiencies and enhanced automation through Mark Andy AI. The P7E will be outfitted with Digital Plus Screen, an efficient replacement for traditional rotary screen printing that seamlessly integrates single color UV inkjet printing onto high output flexo presses. Available as a rail-mounted option on new equipment or as a retrofit enhancing any existing flexo assets, it’s ideal for shorter runs.
The Digital One entry-level digital printing and converting label press is also on display, purpose built to digitally print short run prime labels with in-line converting. Offering 4-color CMYK digital process at 1200 x 1200 dpi, a single flexo station for in-line converting, and supporting in-line or offline finishing, Digital One can support cost cutting demands, shorten delivery times and reduce run sizes, thereby freeing up valuable press time.
